RE: Error on Install for wx-widgets gui [ Reply ]

Thanks for the prompt replies. I'm a PhD student in Informatics at Indiana University. Recently I've started getting interested in music and digital signal processing. After reading a recent Nature article on mammalian audio encoding (http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v439/n7079/full/nature04485.html), I've been digging around trying to find more information on revcor filters, spike encoding, and matching pursuit. I'm in the process of retrieving the revcor cell data from the Boston Ear Lab (http://earlab.bu.edu/databases/collections/revcor/Default.aspx), and will be trying to get this data working with your 'arbitrary convolution' atom option. I'll probably be back with more questions soon, but for now, thanks again!

Dear Mr. Donaldson;

The community of MPTK users would probably be interested in knowing who you are and what you use MPTK for.

Please remember that answers on this forum are made by humans, not by machines.

Thanks for your interest in MPTK. Best regards;

MPTK requires at least wx-widget version 2.6.x

I suggest you to install a recent version of wx-widget on your system in order to succeed building MPTK with its GUI.

I must make mention of the development status of this gui, most of the MPTK package is fairly stable now. However, we haven't reached version 1.0 yet, and particulary gui is still under development.

I'm able to compile and run the mptk command line version on OSX10.4, but when I try to include the gui, I get the following error (for make)
